The Secret Life of Dogs

Dogs are famously known as 'Mans Best Friend' which is a relationship that has been marvelled. Research has provided insight into our relationship and what makes canines such good companions. This is well highlighted in the documentries 'The Secret Life of Dogs' and 'The Secret Life of the Dog'.

Both of the documenties provide great insight into the abilites of dogs and how and why they have become one of the most popoular pets around the world. 'The Secretof Dogs' provides insights into the canine world and their abilities which provides a greater understanding of the world from a dogs point of view.

Meanwhile, 'The Secret Life of the Dog' features studies about the evolution of the dog as we know them today and the genetics behind domestication. All dogs have evolved from the one species of wolf, which has led to a diverse range of breeds. Dogs have helped us evolve and develop hunting and agricultural practices. They have also provided assistance such as search and rescue and guiding the blind, they are now helping scientist uncode diseases due to their genetics. However one of our most common benefits these days, is their companionship.

Soon I will be visiting a dog that is aiding in conservation. I am intrigued to learn what we discover next, and the advances in the canine-human relationship.
